Welcome to our Affiliate program!
- A way for everybody from flight schools and instructors to social media content creators to profit nicely by spreading the good word about our products while carrying no inventory and having no upfront costs.
- Technical matters related to affiliate payment and tracking are handled fairly and professionally by our third party merchant partner, MyCommerce / ShareIt / Digital River.

- What is the affiliate program?

This is a fair and generous win-win-win program, professionally managed by our merchant partners at ShareIt/MyCommerce/Digital River where you can earn money by telling others about our products.
There are a few different ways that the affiliate program can
work depending on your exact situation, but in its
most straightforward implementation, let's say that you are an aviation company or a prominent YouTube channel called "Tigershark Aviation". We'll create a web addresses along the lines of www.FAATest.com/TigerShark or https://www.dauntless--soft.com/TigerShark and when people visit our sites and buy our products, you can make a percentage of each sale (subject to Ts&Cs described here and on related pages).
- If you're a flight school or instructor, you can hand out little cards or hang up posters with your special affiliate code / web address on it. In fact, we'll help you make these!
- If you have an aviation website, including the website of your school of company, you can post the links there.
- If you're a regular contributor to online aviation discussion groups or forums, as long as you do so within the rules of such groups, you'll be able to posts links/codes that for
example provide discounts for new customers and an affiliate commission for you.
- If you have a popular YouTube channel or other social media site, you can likewise help us promote our products. In such cases, there are substantial partnership opportunities
for content developers willing to invest in the creation of particularly effective and attractive campaigns.

- How can I incentivize people to use my links?

We'll give you access to some marketing materials and ideas once we have accepted your affiliate application.
- What will the payout be? Will my visitors get a discount?

We are open to all three possibilities: Let's say you have a link www.dauntless-soft.com/TigerShark
- It is possible to set this up so that you get paid a commission for every visitor who buys based on this link but your visitors/customers don't get any discount.
- It is possible to set this up so that your visitors/customers get a discount on our products but you don't earn any personal profit.
- It is possible to set this up so that both happen - in essence, the affiliate value is shared between you and your visitors/customers.
We think most affiliates will opt for a 'shared' version. Please let us know which of these interests you if/when you contact you contact us to sign up up.
- I am not interested in being an affiliate. Can I get a discount code?

We have found that sometimes people visit this page who just want to basically see if they can find a discount code for their individual purchases. IF that's you, please visit www.dauntless-soft.com/SAVE5
or use the coupon code "SAVE5" at checkout for most products purchased via our MyCommerce merchant partner.
- What is the affiliate payout?

We offer a generous commission (a percentage of each order) that could become a substantial form of profit for the correct partner(s). At the bottom of this page is a link to our affiliate
sign up page. Once we have received your application, we will propose for you a commission and/or commission + customer discount program contract. Rates vary depending on
the specific circumstance of each applicant. Please note that commission rates also may differ a bit depending on the product - for example, some discounted products, such as site and bulk
licenses - may have differing commission rates.
- How will I get paid?

MyCommerce / ShareIt / Digital River run the nuts and bolts of our affiliate program. As you will see below, you make an application to join the affiliate program both with them and with us. They run affiliate programs
for tens of thousands of companies for whom they provide merchant services. What this means for you is that you can be assured of a fair and professional experience. If accepted, MyCommerce will provide you with access
to your own portal where you can track your affiliate statistics. They would also be the ones that would pay you directly, meaning that we (Dauntless) are not involved with the affiliate payout process in any way.
This is good and fair for all involved. The exact method of payment they offer may vary a bit by your geographical location and other circumstances, but we believe that for many they offer bank transfer, wire transfer, check/cheque, and similar
means.
- Should I sign up as an affiliate just to make a few bucks off of a personal order?

In general, no, please do not do this. First of all, ShareIT / Digital River / MyCommerce's policy is that there is a minimum commission payout (see the blue box below) threshold and most personal purchases normally fall below this. Second, we screen all affiliates carefully and will generally not accept unconvincing applications. That said, if you are, for example, an individual flight school or flight instructor and want to buy a few products for yourself now and have a legitimate desire to participate in our affiliate program with your students going forward, then there's no problem at all in you signing up as an affiliate and then making the first purchase yourself.
- Will I get an affiliate commission on iPhone/iPad, Mac, and/or Android purchases?

Unfortunately, NO. We wish we could, but unfortunately as of this writing, Apple, Google, and Amazon have no mechanism for this. Commission payments only apply to products purchased
via our MyCommerce / ShareIt / Digital River checkout page. Generally speaking, this means PC apps and also Safelog Pilot Logbook subscriptions purchased via
www.SafelogWeb.com. Still, despite this, we sell a great amount of apps via our website and we welcome you to be a part of it.
- Can I make an affiliate commission by being your "point man" within our organization?

Yes, absolutely. For example, if you've found out about us, you can make an affiliate commission on site/lab, bulk, and individual purchases as long as your purchase meets the minimum threshold values. Please note however that lab/site and bulk licenses generally pay a different (lower) commission than individual products due to them being highly discounted already. But yes, if your organization makes a reasonably large purchase, there's no reason why you couldn't profit
nicely from this. If this sounds like it applies to you, make sure you tell us about this in your application.
- Are there any other particular requirements?

We aim to be good internet and aviation community citizens. This means that we expect our affiliates not to spam (email / forums / comment sections / whatever). At the end of the day, the system only works if our affiliates portray us and our company in a positive
light. As such, please understand that we reserve the right to immediately suspend or cancel the affiliate program membership of any individual or organization which acts in bad faith or in gross violation of acceptable internet norms. As a general
guideline, if we receive complaints about the actions of an affiliate, this is at minimum a warning signal that something may not be right and needs addressing.
- Doubling up on affiliate / promotions?

Our system will normally acknowledge only on affiliate or promotion per order. It is not possible to "double up." The system is set up fairly so that most recent affiliate
or promotion pertaining to an order will take precedence. Sometimes, the system may for technical reason accept certain "double ups" on promotions, but this should be considered temporary, anomalous, reversible at Dauntless' discretion, and not-guaranteed.

Asked Questions for affiliates current at the time of this writing. Please read it below. Please note that there is always a chance that the version
below may differ a bit from updated versions of this FAQ that you can find on the MyCommerce site. With regards to the blue box FAQ below we (Dauntless) = "The Publisher."
We have quoted this text below in its entirety from MyCommerce. Some of it refers to 'product links' and similar things. While such links are supported (for example,
if you run a Private Pilot GroundSchool classroom course you may want to link directly to our FAA GroundSchool Private Pilot test prep product, making sure you get affiliate credit), don't let
that stuff confuse you. For many affiliates, a simple affiliate link such as the "www.dauntless-soft.com/TigerShark" example described above is all you will need for the most straightforward integration. Once
they are at our home page, users are usually quite good at finding exactly what they are after.
MyCommerce / Digital River / ShareIt FAQ for Affiliates
- I signed up - what happens next?

MyCommerce will check the data of each newly registered affiliate and then notify the publisher. Since the publisher can either immediately accept a partnership with an affiliate or first check their information, there can be a short delay until the account is activated. This also depends on how often the publisher checks affiliate requests. In any case, we will notify you by e-mail of your request status.
After you have registered and your account has been activated, you will receive your login information for the Affiliate Control Panel. The Control Panel contains detailed information about your partnerships and products. After your account has been activated by the publisher, you can generate links and add them to your website, marketing their products. In the "Products" section of the Control Panel, you can create links to the relevant products and request authorization to market other products by the same software publisher. After receiving the publisher's authorization, you can add a direct link to the publisher's storefront. After deciding which products you would like to market, use the Link Generator in the Control Panel ('Products' section) to generate the links to the storefront product- or checkout pages. These links automatically contain your affiliate ID. This ensures that every sale you make can be attributed to you. You can then add these links to your website.
Please note: The publisher, not MyCommerce, is responsible for activating your account or authorizing product marketing. Also note that activation/authorization might be delayed. In any case, you will be notified by e-mail of all status changes. If a publisher rejects a partnership, please contact them directly.
- When will I get paid my commission?

MyCommerce sends out Payment Reports to affiliates on the 8th of the each month for the previous month's sales. Payment is then made on the 15th for the previous month's earnings, provided you reach the minimum payment amount of 100 EUR/USD or 70 GBP in commission earnings.
- Is there a minimum amount I have to earn in order to receive payment?

Yes, you must earn a minimum of 100 EUR/USD or 70 GBP in commission before payment can be made. If the minimum amount is not reached, the total is carried over to the next month.
- How much commission will I receive?

Software publishers define commission rates for their affiliates and possibly for each product. You can either find the standard commission rate on the publisher's website, or you can view the applicable commission rate next to the product name in the product selection list in the Affiliate Control Panel. You will be notified by e-mail as soon as a publisher changes a commission rate.
- Which payment methods and currencies are available for me to receive my payments?

You can receive your commission by Direct Deposit (USD), check (USD, EUR or GBP) or wire transfer (EUR, GBP). You can specify your preferred payment method in the Control Panel under Administration > Your Payment Information.
- I haven't received my payment for last month's sales, what do I do?

This can be due to a number of reasons. If you have set a minimum payment yourself, it may not have been reached. Or you may not have reached our minimum (see "Minimum Amount" above). If so, your commission will be retained until it has reached the set limit. If you have not set a limit yourself, or if you think your commission should not have been retained, please contact us.
- Are there any costs participating as an affiliate?

There are no monthly or fixed costs to you for participating in the MyCommerce affiliate program.
- What information will I receive on my sales?

You can access sales reports in the Affiliate Control Panel. These provide an overview of your sales and commission payments by date. MyCommerce does not, however, disclose end customer data, since you are not the legal owner of this data.
- How should I promote the products?
- You can place the referral links anywhere on your website. It is typically a good idea to place them with complementing products or related topics to help generate referrals. Since you have a lot of flexibility with the links, you can also try out different locations of the links on your website to gauge their effectiveness.
- How can a terminate a partnership with a software author / publisher?

In your Affiliate Control Panel, you can display all your partnerships in the section "Products". Simply filter by "Partnership exists". For each partnership, you will find a button "Terminate partnership". Then simply remove the links from your website after you submitted your termination request.
- How can I find other products that I have not yet sold?

There are two options in the Affiliate Control Panel under Products ... Find to locate products for which you have not yet applied for partnerships: If you are looking for a specific product, then enter the entire product name or part of the product name (at least three characters) in the appropriate field. You can also search for a specific publisher by entering the publisher's name in the appropriate field. Please note that due to the large number of products available, we only display a selection of products if you do not filter by product or publisher name.
- How can I generate links using the Link Generator?

Using the Link Generator, you can generate links to a storefront page or a specified website e.g. the publisher's website. You can find this function under Products ... Link Generator, or go to Products ... Find, filter for "Partnership exists", and click on "Generate product links" to the right of the product.
To generate shopping cart, product and order page links, do the following:
- If you did not access this page directly via Products ... Link Generator, please enter the product ID.
- Select the page in the order process you would like to display.
- Then select the language to be displayed. (If no selection is made, English will be the default display language)
You can also define a URL reference for the back link. This URL will be used if the customer selects "Continue shopping" after placing a product into the shopping cart. You can link to your Website or display it as a reference if you have a store page. Your customer can then continue purchasing products.
If you click on the "Generate Product Links" button, the target URL is displayed in an output window.
Every link generated by the Link Generator as described above contains your affiliate ID so that sales generated can be attributed to you.
- How do I find products that aren't listed / 'Partnership does not exist'?

To find the product search function, go to Products > Find in the Affiliate Control Panel. You will find several options there for searching for products for which you have not yet requested partnerships:
- If you are looking for a specific product, enter the entire product name or part of the product name (at least three characters) in the appropriate field.
- You can also search for a specific publisher by entering the publisher's name in the appropriate field.
- You can also search for products in a specific category.
- If you know the MyCommerce product ID, you can enter it to find the product you are looking for.
- Please note that due to the large number of products available, only a selection of products is displayed, unless you filter by product or publisher name. Please also note that publishers can select the products for which they would like affiliate support.
- If you followed our instructions, but are unable to find a particular product by a publisher with whom you have not yet worked, please contact us indicating the name of the publisher.
- Multiple accounts created?

Please note that only one Affiliate Control Panel account is necessary for access to all participants in our Affiliate Network. Please therefore continue using your existing account and login information to the Affiliate Control Panel with your affiliate ID and password to request additional affiliations.
Please note that you can embed product links into your website only after publishers have activated your account for their products. You will receive notification of this by e-mail.

- First, carefully read through the questions above, including the Digital River FAQs in the big blue box above. If you have questions about any of this not covered here, please
by all means reach out to us via our online helpdesk.
- Second, visit our Affiliate Signup Page at MyCommerce / ShareIt / Digital River and fill out the application.
- Please read the terms above and also the terms and conditions, privacy policy, etc on the MyCommerce / Digital River / ShareIT site above. T&Cs are subject to change without notice.
- The signup form asks for a 'website.' If you have one, please put it, or the website of your employer / flight school / organization / etc. If you are a YouTube content creator, please put your YouTube channel address.
- Third (important!) Open a ticket via our online helpdesk with the subject line "AFFILIATE SIGNUP: {your name / your organization name]." We want to make sure that we
accept only quality affiliates, so please let us know about you. In no particular order, here are some questions and info that you may want to provide to help us better get to know you. Not all questions apply to each applicant.
- In what capacity do you want to be an affiliate? For example: independent instructor, school, FBO, retail outlet, social media creator, etc. How do you propose lettering others know about us?
- Do you or your organization have a website, Facebook page, YouTube channel, blog, etc.? Let us know what it is! For website and social media page owners, we are happy to find partners who are willing to link to us from their sites.
- If you're a social media creator (including YouTube), please let us know your existing, verifiable audience size (estimates are fine) and, crucially, to what degree you are capable and willing to do substantial, unique marketing
of our products within our platform. For example, we potentially welcome and can offer particularly attractive commission rates t o YouTube / social media content creators who are willing to invest in meaningful content creation (such as ads within
popularly watched channels). Let us know what you are willing and able to do.
- And so on.
Please make sure to complete all three steps for your application to be processed.
