From pilots and independent reviewers
What people say about Safelog.
Safelog is the walk-away winner for a full-featured, digital pilot logbook. We could use virtually all the features intuitively. The data is easy to import and export. The logbook is vastly customizable to show any kind of data you want, but it’s set up well with defaults that will work for most users. There are handy quick-entry items to make the logbook chore easier. It’s also the most international with separate versions for FAA, EASA/JAA, CAA, Canadian and Australian users.
Safelog is simply the best tool to properly track and organize your valuable logbook data.

I'm an airline pilot and I trust Safelog. The ease of use, the layout, the charts and graphs - it's just great. I import my roster directly and then I can quickly log the fligths I have flown. The fact that there is a full range of EASA analysis features, including duty and block time limit checkers is also splendid. Five out of five stars!

I have Safelog and LOVE it! What continues to surprise me is that updates keep coming out... I am always pleasantly surprised when you keep improving something that I considered perfect!

A few common questions
Everything you need to get started.
Can I use Safelog on more than one device?
Yes. A single active Safelog subscription gives you access to the supported Windows, Mac, iPhone/iPad, Android and web versions. Your logbook can synchronize among them without an additional per-platform or synchronization fee.
Can I log flights when I have no internet connection?
The dedicated Safelog apps can be used offline for logging and many everyday tasks. Synchronize when you have a connection. SafelogWeb, the browser-based version, requires an internet connection.
Will it work with my country's logbook format?
Safelog supports major logbook conventions, including FAA, EASA, UK CAA, Transport Canada and CASA Australia, and offers many configurable fields and printout styles. Specific reporting and regulatory analysis features vary by jurisdiction and platform.
Can I move records from a paper logbook or another electronic logbook?
Yes. You can enter past flights, import spreadsheets and CSV files, or use Safelog's transition tools for many other digital logbooks and roster sources. See our transition information for supported formats and any applicable conditions.
Is there a free trial? How does pricing work?
Yes. You can create a free demo account or try the Safelog apps before subscribing. Trial accounts have limits on how much flight data you can enter. Paid Safelog access is subscription-based; see current options and pricing for details.
Can I keep using my traditional paper logbook too?
Of course. Some pilots use Safelog as their primary logbook; others maintain both electronic and paper records. Safelog's configurable logbook printouts can also help you produce physical copies when needed.
